Old money fall outfits and the actual season of fall were basically made for each other.

I’ve been into this aesthetic for a while now, and fall is honestly when it finally makes sense to actually dress this way.

You can pull out the long coat and the cashmere and nobody thinks you’re overdressed. It just fits.

Classic Layers

This is where old money dressing really lives. A turtleneck under a blazer, a wool coat thrown over everything.

Fall is basically the only season where that much layering doesn’t feel like too much.

There’s something about this combo that never gets old for me.

And the ballet flats — not loafers, not boots — that’s the detail that keeps it from feeling too stiff.

I’ve worn this exact lineup before and honestly it’s one of those outfits where you just stop second-guessing yourself halfway through getting dressed.

2. Cable Knit Sweater + Wide-Leg Pants + Brown Belt

The belt is doing so much quiet work here. Without it the whole thing would just blur together, but that one brown strap pulls everything into focus.

I keep coming back to this one — there’s something about head-to-toe cream that feels more intentional than it sounds.
