Galentine’s plans always end up being the easiest excuse to gather everyone you love in one room, and somehow it still feels special every single time.
If you’re anything like me, you probably want the night to feel fun without turning it into a big production.
That’s where games come in — the silly ones, the cozy ones, and the ones that somehow get everyone laughing even when nobody meant to.
So I pulled together a bunch of Galentine’s party games you can mix and match depending on your vibe.
Whether it’s a full girls’ night or just a handful of close friends, there’s something here that’ll make the night feel a little more memorable.

Breaking the Ice (Without the Awkwardness)
These are the kind of games that take the pressure off the first few minutes. Nothing overwhelming—just little prompts that help everyone settle in and start talking without feeling like they’re “performing.”
1. Most Likely To
This is just sitting in a circle with drinks. You ask something like “Who’s most likely to ghost a date?” and everyone pours a bit of their drink into the cup of whoever they’re pointing at. It’s a messy way to see what your friends really think of you.
How to Play
- Everyone sits in a straight line, side by side.
- One person reads a “most likely to” question out loud.
- Everyone pours water into the cup of the person they think fits the question.
I’ll be honest, I was voted “most likely to buy another houseplant I’ll definitely kill” three years in a row, and the accuracy actually hurt a little!
2. Pink Elephant Gift Exchange
It’s basically a White Elephant but with a $20 pink-themed limit. The stealing is where the drama happens—people will literally fight over a cute silk eye mask or a nice candle.
How to Play
- Everyone brings one wrapped gift, usually pink, cute, or funny.
- Players draw numbers to decide the order.
- The first player opens a gift.
- Each next player can either open a new gift or steal an opened one.
- A gift can only be stolen a limited number of times.
- When all gifts are opened, the game ends and everyone keeps the gift they have.
3. Overflow Cup Game
Everyone takes turns adding a single drop of water to a full cup. You’ll see the water bulging over the rim, and the person who finally makes it overflow has to take a penalty.
How to Play
- Place one empty cup in the center.
- Players take turns pouring a small amount of water into the cup.
- The cup slowly fills as the game goes on.
- If the water overflows on your turn, you lose or get a penalty.
4. Galentine’s Jeopardy
You create a DIY trivia board about your own friend group. Categories like “Exes,” “Vacation Fails,” or “Drunk Texts” usually turn the night into a hilarious trip down memory lane.
How to Play
- Create categories with fun Galentine’s-themed questions.
- Players take turns choosing a category and point value.
- A question is read out loud.
- Correct answers earn points.
- The player or team with the most points wins.
5. Blind Cup Matching Game
You hide a specific pattern of cups inside a box and try to replicate it by feel while looking at a sample outside. It’s surprisingly frustrating when you can’t see what your hands are doing.
How to Play
- Line up 4–5 cups inside a box, hidden from the player.
- Place matching cups on top of the box.
- Without seeing inside, move one cup at a time to match the correct order.
- Complete the sequence correctly to win—mistakes trigger a reset or penalty.
6. Poke a Prize
I love the nostalgia of this one. You glue cups to a board, hide treats or dares inside, and cover them with tissue paper for everyone to punch through.
How to Play
- Cups or boxes are set up in a display.
- Small prizes or penalty cards are hidden inside.
- Each cup is covered with tissue paper.
- Players take turns poking through one cup.
- The player keeps the prize or completes the challenge inside.
7. Blind Scoop Challenge
Blindfolded and armed with a spatula, you try to scoop rose petals into a bowl. The petals are so light that half the time you’re just scooping air while everyone else is losing it.
How to Play
- Scatter pink and red petals (or small items) across a table.
- Each player is blindfolded and given a basket.
- Using a spatula, players scoop items into the basket.
- The goal is to collect as many items as possible within the time limit.
- The player with the most items wins.
8. Galentine’s Pink Jenga
Write messy prompts on the wooden blocks. If you pull a block, you’re either telling a secret or doing something embarrassing.
How to Play
- Set up a pink Jenga tower.
- Write dares, questions, or mini challenges on some blocks.
- Players take turns removing one block at a time.
- After pulling a block, the player completes what’s written on it.
- If the tower falls, that player gets a penalty or extra challenge.
All-Group Games
I love these because everyone gets pulled into the same moment. No one’s left watching from the side, and the room starts to feel connected really quickly.
9. Red or Green Galentine’s Game
Someone reads a trait (like “He’s 30 and has a race car bed”) and you run to the Red or Green side of the room. The arguments that follow are the best part.
How to Play
- Place a red sign on one side and a green sign on the other.
- Draw a line down the middle of the floor.
- A question is read out loud.
- Players move to the red or green side based on their answer.
10. Bottle Flip Coin Rush
This is pure panic. You try to land a bottle flip, and the second it’s upright, you start grabbing as many coins as you can until the next person lands their flip.
How to Play
- Have everyone line up in a single row.
- Place a pile of coins (or tokens, candy, or mini prizes) next to the first player.
- The first player tries to flip the bottle.
- Once they land a successful flip, they immediately start grabbing coins.
- At the same time, the next player begins flipping the bottle.
- The moment the next player lands their flip, the first player must stop grabbing coins.
- Everyone moves up one spot and the game continues down the line.
This one gets so chaotic that we usually end up clearing the coffee table of all breakables first—trust me, things get a little aggressive when there’s a pile of prizes in the middle!
11. Pink Wrap Challenge
Grab some pink streamers or TP and try to wrap yourself up like a mummy. If the paper tears, you’re in trouble. It’s a race to see who finishes first.
How to Play
- Give each player a roll of pink wrapping paper.
- One at a time, players wrap the paper around their own body as quickly as possible.
- The goal is to wrap yourself without tearing the paper.
- Use a timer to track how long it takes each player.
- The fastest time wins.
12. Underwear Grab Game
Think musical chairs, but you’re diving for a pile of giant, funny boxers in the middle of the rug. It’s chaotic and slightly ridiculous.
How to Play
- Place one fewer pairs of underwear than players on the table.
- Walk around the table while music plays.
- When the music stops, grab one.
- The person without underwear is out.
13. Blind Walk Challenge
You stand in a taped square, close your eyes, spin, and try to “walk” while staying inside. Most people end up halfway across the kitchen without realizing it.
How to Play
- Mark a square on the floor using tape.
- Each player stands inside the square.
- Everyone closes their eyes or wears a blindfold.
- On the signal, players begin walking in place or moving slowly.
- If a player steps outside the square, they are out.
- The last player remaining inside the square wins.
14. Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Cup
Facing off with a partner, you touch whatever body part is called out until you hear “CUP!” Then it’s a total scramble to grab it first.
How to Play
- Place a cup in the center of the table (or on the floor).
- Everyone stands around it.
- The caller calls out body parts: “Head,” “Shoulders,” “Knees.”
- Players must touch the correct body part each time.
- When the caller says “Cup!”, everyone rushes to grab the cup.
15. Ribbon Roll Unwrap Challenge
Everyone gets a roll of curling ribbon and tries to unspool the whole thing as fast as possible. It makes the living room look like a pink explosion.
How to Play
- Give each player a long roll of wrapping ribbon (or wrapping paper).
- Everyone starts at the same time.
- The goal is to unroll the ribbon as fast as possible.
- The first person to fully unroll their ribbon wins.
16. Higher or Lower Number Guessing Game
A simple high/low game where the host picks a number, but you add a penalty—like a super sour candy—if you guess wrong three times.
How to Play
- One number is secretly chosen by the host.
- Players take turns guessing the number out loud.
- The host says “Higher” if the guess is too low.
- The host says “Lower” if the guess is too high.
- The player who guesses the exact number wins.
17. Follow the Leader Dance Game
One person does a move, the next repeats it and adds another. By the end, you have this long, messy choreography that nobody can remember.
How to Play
- Players line up in a single row.
- The first player does a dance move.
- Each player copies the last move only and then adds a new move.
- The dance chain keeps growing down the line.
18. Coin Balance Stick Game
You balance a bottle on a stack of coins and try to flick the bottom coin out with a butter knife without the bottle tipping over.
How to Play
- Line up several coins in a row.
- Balance a water bottle upside down on top of the coins.
- Players take turns using a flat stick or ruler to slide one coin out.
- The bottle must stay balanced.
- If the bottle falls, that player loses (or gets a penalty).
Team Challenges
Something about splitting into teams always brings out a fun, friendly energy. It’s never too serious, just enough competition to make everyone laugh a little louder.
19. Conversation Heart Balance Relay
You hold a popsicle stick in your mouth and try to stack conversation hearts on the end while walking. One deep breath and it’s all over.
How to Play
- Two players at a time run to the table where sticks and candy are placed.
- Each player holds a stick in their mouth.
- Using their hands, they stack several candies on top of the stick.
- Without dropping the candies, they carry the stick to a cup at the end of the table.
I tried this last year and realized I can’t hold my breath and walk at the same time—I dropped my stack an inch from the finish line and my team still hasn’t let me live it down.
20. Wobble Cup Challenge
This involves wearing pantyhose on your head with a tennis ball in the leg. You swing your head to knock over bottles. It’s 100% worth filming.
How to Play
- Place a small ball or ornament inside the stocking.
- Tie a stocking around each player’s waist.
- Line up a row of plastic cups on the floor.
- Hands are not allowed at any time.
- Players use only hip and body movement to swing the ball.
- The goal is to knock over or hit the cups using the ball.
- The first player to knock down all the cups wins.
21. Tic-Tac-Toe Relay
A giant grid on the floor where you have to run back and forth to place your markers. It’s half cardio, half strategy.
How to Play
- Draw a large tic-tac-toe grid (3×3) on the floor.
- Split into two teams, each with their own color markers (cups, cards, etc.).
- One player from each team runs, places a marker, then runs back to tag the next teammate.
- The first team to get three in a row wins.
22. Balloon & Shirt Challenge
You try to see how many balloons you can fit inside your teammate’s oversized shirt. They end up looking like a giant cluster of grapes.
How to Play
- Each player keeps a balloon in the air while putting on a T-shirt.
- The balloon must not touch the ground at any point.
- The fastest to finish wins.
23. Cup Stacking Relay
Normal cup stacking, but you’re only allowed to use your non-dominant hand. It’s way harder than you’d think.
How to Play
- Players split into teams.
- One player at a time runs to the table.
- Using plastic cups, they stack cups in a straight line.
- After stacking, they run back and tag the next player.
- The next player continues stacking.
- The first team to finish stacking all cups wins.
24. Sock Removal Water Balance Game
Everyone lies down with their feet up, balancing a bowl of water. You have to take your socks off without spilling a drop.
How to Play
- Split into two teams.
- All players lie on the floor and lift their legs up.
- A container filled with water is balanced on everyone’s feet.
- Without spilling the water, players must remove their socks.
- The first team where everyone removes their socks wins.
25. Caterpillar Crawl
Passing a balloon over heads and under legs down a line. If it pops or hits the floor, the whole team starts over.
How to Play
- Divide into two teams and line up in single file.
- The first player passes the ball backward over their head to the person behind them.
- The last player sends it forward through their legs to the front again.
- The front player then runs around a chair with the ball between their knees, comes back, and passes it to the next teammate.
- Continue until everyone has gone. First team to finish wins.
26. Blind Color Cup Stacking Relay
A blindfolded person tries to build a tower while their partner screams directions like “A LITTLE TO THE LEFT!”
How to Play
- Place two different colors of plastic cups on a table.
- One player from each team is blindfolded and assigned a color.
- The blindfolded player must stack only their color of cups.
- Teammates give verbal directions to guide them.
- The first team to finish stacking their cups wins.
At this point, the night is fully in Galentine’s mode—and somehow everyone always shows up cuter than planned.
If you’re still figuring out what to wear, these Galentine’s Party Outfit Ideas fit perfectly with a night like this.
Pair Games
When the group breaks into pairs, the conversations and reactions get a little more personal in a cute way. These work well no matter how close everyone is—you end up learning something new about each other.
27. Banana Ring Toss Game
One person holds a balloon or banana between their knees, and the partner tries to toss rings onto it from across the room.
How to Play
- One player stands holding a banana-shaped balloon between their legs.
- Players on the opposite side take turns tossing rings.
- The goal is to land the ring onto the banana balloon.
- Each successful toss scores a point.
- The team or player with the most points wins.
28. Blind Hair Clip Challenge
You pin a bunch of clips all over your clothes and hair, and your blindfolded partner has to find and remove them all as fast as they can.
How to Play
- One player has many hair clips attached to their hair and clothing.
- The other player is blindfolded.
- Using only their hands, the blindfolded player removes as many hair clips as possible.
- The team that removes all the clips the fastest wins.
The funniest part is always the one clip you miss—I once went to a late-night diner after a party with a giant pink bow still stuck to the back of my head because we forgot to count them!
29. Balloon Cup Blast
You inflate a balloon and use only the air escaping from it to blow plastic cups across a table.
How to Play
- Line up plastic cups.
- Each player gets one balloon.
- On “go,” players inflate the balloon.
- Players release the air from the balloon to blow the cups over.
- Cups must be knocked over using air only.
- The first player to knock over all their cups wins.
30. Speed Tissue Pull Challenge
Trying to empty a full box of tissues one by one using just one hand. Your arm will actually be sore after this.
How to Play
- Two players per team — one holds the tissue box steady.
- The other uses one hand to pull tissues as fast as possible.
- Set a timer (about 30 seconds or 1 minute).
- The team with the biggest pile wins.
31. Blind Marshmallow Transfer Game
You’re blindfolded and trying to carry a marshmallow on a spatula to your partner’s mouth. It usually ends with marshmallow mush on someone’s nose.
How to Play
- Set up two tables with some distance between them.
- Marshmallows are placed on one table, and an empty container is placed on the opposite table.
- Players are blindfolded and given spatulas.
- Using only touch and the spatula, the player scoops marshmallows, walks to the other table, and drops them into the container.
- Players go back and forth until time runs out.
32. Color Matching Cup Game
Sorting pink and red candies into different cups while wearing plastic cups on your hands and having your partner shake the table.
How to Play
- Each player has two plastic cups, one on each hand.
- Ping pong balls in matching colors are spread out on the table.
- Using both hands, players pick up the balls and drop each ball into the cup with the same color.
- The first player to sort all the balls into the correct cups wins.
33. Dice Cup Stacking Battle
You roll a die and add that many cups to your partner’s tower. If it falls on your turn, you’re the loser.
How to Play
- Each player has their own stack of plastic cups on the table.
- Players take turns rolling a die.
- The number rolled is how many cups you may stack on your turn.
- You can place your cups on your own stack or on top of another player’s cups.
- The goal is to cover all other colors so only your color is on top.
34. Color Elimination Hand Game
The host calls out a color, and you have to touch any colored paper on the table except the one they named.
How to Play
- Four different colored papers are laid out on the table for each player.
- The host calls out a color.
- Players must place their hands on any paper except the color called.
- Touching the called color means you lose the round or get a penalty.
35. Blind Grab Game
You reach into a box blindfolded to identify objects. Even a wet sponge feels terrifying when you can’t see it.
How to Play
- Place a variety of different objects on a table.
- Both players are blindfolded.
- The host calls out the name of an object.
- Using only their sense of touch, players search the table with their hands.
- The first player to find the correct object and place it into their container wins the round.
36. Cup Catch Challenge
Tossing a cup over your shoulder and hoping your partner catches it inside their own cup.
How to Play
- One player turns around and tosses their cup backward.
- The other player must catch the flying cup so it lands inside the cup they are holding.
- The cup may bounce before landing.
- Each successful catch scores a point.
- The team with the most successful catches wins.
Drink Games
These add a fun twist to the night. A tiny bit of crafting or a photo moment somehow makes everything feel more memorable, especially for a Galentine’s get-together.
37. Candle Blowing Game
10 tea lights in a row. You get one breath to blow them out, and however many are left standing equals how many sips you take.
How to Play
- Line up several lit candles in a row.
- Players blow as hard as they can using only their mouth.
- If you can’t blow them all out in one try — drink.
38. Mystery Shot Game
I call this one “liquid roulette.” It’s such a fun way to keep everyone on their toes, especially when you’re down to the last few cups and everyone knows there’s still a shot hiding somewhere on the table.
How to Play
- A large number of cups are placed upside down on a table.
- One or more shots are hidden under some of the cups.
- Players take turns lifting one cup at a time.
- If there is a shot underneath, the player drinks it.
- If there is no shot, the player passes.
- The game continues until all shots are found.
39. Rosé APT. Drinking Game
The hand-stacking game from the song. You count up as you remove hands, and the person whose hand is on the “called” number drinks.
How to Play
- Everyone stands in a circle.
- Players shake their hands while chanting “APT, APT.”
- One player calls out a number.
- All players place both hands into the center to make a stacked hand tower.
- Starting from the bottom, hands are removed one by one while counting up.
- The hand removed on the called number drinks a shot.
We played this at our last girls’ night and the “APT! APT!” chant was stuck in my head for three days straight. It’s definitely the fastest way to get the energy up.
40. Wine Bottle Card Blow
A deck of cards on a wine bottle. You blow gently to move some cards off; if you knock the whole stack over, you finish your drink.
How to Play
- Stack playing cards on top of a wine bottle.
- Take turns gently blowing some off.
- If you blow off the entire stack, you drink.
41. Toilet Paper Wine Pull Game
You roll a strip of toilet paper to bring a wine glass closer to you. If it tips or the paper breaks, you’re out. (Avoid white carpets!)
How to Play
- Unroll a long strip of toilet paper across a table.
- Place a partially filled wine glass on the very end of the toilet paper.
- Players pull the toilet paper toward themselves as fast as possible.
- The goal is to pull the wine glass close enough to drink it without tipping it over.
- The first player to drink their wine wins.
42. Spinner Shot Cup Game
It’s like spin the bottle, but if it points to a cup with a shot under it, it’s yours.
How to Play
- Several cups are placed upside down in a circle on a table.
- One or more shots are hidden under some of the cups.
- Players take turns spinning the pen.
- If there is a shot underneath, the player drinks it.
- If there is no shot, the player passes.
Funny Games
These are the games that always end up stealing the night. The silly, slightly chaotic ones that start off simple and somehow turn into the story everyone keeps bringing up later.
43. Blindfold Banana Feed Challenge
Two blindfolded people—one peels and feeds a banana to the other. It’s messy, ridiculous, and guaranteed to make everyone laugh.
How to Play
- Players split into teams of two.
- Everyone is blindfolded.
- One player sits on a chair.
- The other player stands a short distance away holding a banana.
- On “go,” the standing player walks toward their seated teammate.
- Without seeing, they peel the banana and try to feed it to their teammate.
- The first team to successfully feed the banana wins.
44. Blindfold Camera Game
The “photographer” is blindfolded and snapping random photos while everyone else tries to hide. Checking the camera roll the next day is the best part.
How to Play
- One player is blindfolded and stands in the center of the room holding a phone camera.
- All other players spread out around the room.
- On “go,” the blindfolded player takes random photos in different directions.
- Other players try to avoid being caught in the photo.
- Anyone who appears in a photo is out or takes a penalty.
45. Toilet Paper Relay
Trying to get a tube into a paper towel roll, with both held between your knees. No hands allowed, just lots of awkward waddling.
How to Play
- One player stands still holding a toilet paper roll between their thighs.
- The other player places a pole or stick between their legs.
- Hands are not allowed at any time.
- On “go,” the player with the pole walks toward the stationary partner.
- Using only body movement, the moving partner guides the pole into the toilet paper roll.
46. Booty Race
A race across the floor using only your butt. No hands, no feet. Just trust me and wear leggings for this one.
How to Play
- Sit on the floor with legs out — no hands allowed.
- On “go,” scoot forward using only your butt.
- First person to reach the cup and drink (or tap it) wins.
- Optional: make them chug water, soda, or something funny.
47. Funny Face Challenge
One person has a mouth full of water while the other tries to make them laugh. When they finally crack, someone is getting wet.
How to Play
- Two players sit facing each other.
- The host holds a sheet of paper between their faces to block the view.
- One player starts making funny faces.
- The other player must try not to laugh.
- If the reacting player laughs, they lose (or take a penalty).
48. Mystery Box Game
Putting weird stuff like cold noodles or a wet sponge in a box and making people guess by touch.
How to Play
- Players take turns reaching into the box.
- Using only their sense of touch, they guess what the object is.
- A correct guess wins the round.
49. Ornament Hole-in-One Challenge
Swinging a hanging ornament into a cup tied to your waist using only hip movements.
How to Play
- Tie a cup around your waist with string or tape.
- Attach an ornament to another string and tie it around your waist (so it hangs behind you).
- Swing your hips or move your body to get the ornament into the cup.
- First one to “score” wins.
50. Left–Right Rock Paper Scissors Game
Trying to match different hand symbols on a sheet of paper with both hands at once. Your brain will literally stop working.
How to Play
- Several papers are placed on the table.
- Each paper shows two hand symbols, one for the left hand and one for the right hand.
- Players must place both hands on a paper, matching the symbols exactly.
- Both hands must move at the same time.
- The challenge is coordinating left and right hands together.
- The first player to correctly match a paper wins, or the other player gets a penalty.
51. No-Hands Underwear Challenge
Trying to put on a pair of giant boxers using only your feet. It looks like a very weird yoga class.
How to Play
- Give each player a pair of underwear or shorts.
- No hands, no help — only use your legs and body.
- First to get both legs in wins.
- Laugh until your face hurts.
52. Blind Condom Challenge
Blindfolded, one hand, trying to put a condom on a cucumber. It’s a bachelorette classic that always works for Galentine’s too.
How to Play
- Each player is blindfolded.
- A condom and a cucumber are placed on the table in front of each player.
- Using only one hand, players must open the condom and put it onto the cucumber.
- The first player to successfully put the condom on wins.
53. Sour Candy Belt Challenge
Racing to eat a long sour candy belt as fast as possible with your hands behind your back.
How to Play
- Each player gets one sour candy belt.
- Players keep their hands behind their backs.
- On “go,” players start eating the candy belt.
- Hands are not allowed at any time.
- The entire candy belt must be eaten.
- The first player to finish wins.
So that’s the little lineup of Galentine’s party games I ended up gathering.
Some are chaotic, some are sweet, and some turn into inside jokes you’ll still be laughing about next month.
Which ones feel the most like your group? And which one are you already thinking about trying first?
