When I tell you this caught me off guard. They look insane together. If you and your boyfriend are both into horror, please just do this.
You’ll terrify everyone and honestly? That’s the whole point. Couples costumes are usually cringe but this one is actually so good.

This one is hard to explain but it just gets to me. Nothing is over the top — old dress, messy veil, one candle — and somehow that’s what makes it so creepy.

I wasn’t ready for this. The stitching, the bugs on the chest, the shape of the whole thing — whoever made this built it from scratch and it shows.
This isn’t a costume you buy, it’s a costume you make, and there’s a big difference. Genuinely one of the most impressive things I’ve seen.

The lashes peeking through the mask is sending me. It’s scary but also kind of hilarious in the best way — she’s fully Jason but make it feminine and I respect the whole concept.

20. Regan & The Nun
Both praying. Both terrifying. The Exorcist and The Conjuring universe in one photo and somehow it makes complete sense.

21. Edward Scissorhands
Okay I never thought to do this and now I’m annoyed at myself. Taking Edward and making it yours — not a copy, not a lazy version, just a genuine reinterpretation.

22. Silent Hill Clown
Silent Hill is so underrated as a Halloween costume universe and I genuinely don’t understand why more people don’t go there.
When someone does pick a character from it though — you just know they’re a different kind of horror fan.
23. Death Note Light Yagami & Kira
The thing I love about this is that it only works if you both actually know Death Note. You can’t fake this one.
And the dynamic between Light and Ryuk is so specific and so weird that it makes the whole thing funnier the more you think about it.
24. Billy the Puppet
Years later and that face still gets to me. I don’t fully understand why Billy is so effective but something about it just refuses to leave your brain.
Timeless in the worst possible way and I mean that as high praise.
25. The Babadook
Most scary costumes try too hard. This one doesn’t try at all — and somehow that’s what makes it creep you out.

I’m sorry but this is so unhinged and I love it so much. Fast food mascots but make it a horror movie — who even thinks of this??
