Okay so burgundy nails aren’t some new thing I discovered. They just come back every fall, every single year, like they never left.
That’s kind of why I trust this color more than half the stuff that blows up for one season and then nobody talks about it again.
The second it gets cold out I’m already swatching wine reds without even meaning to.
This year I went a little overboard collecting ideas though.
Ended up with way more than I planned, so instead of throwing 45 photos at you I’m splitting it up by vibe.

Simple & Understated
Not gonna lie, sometimes one thin line does more than a whole design ever could.
A tiny dot, one accent nail, barely anything at all, and it still looks like you meant to do it.

French Tip Twists
Swapping white for a burgundy line is honestly why I think the French tip refuses to die. Same shape as always, just doesn’t feel boring anymore.
Negative space does the same thing, just quieter.

Statement Details
There’s a mood where plain just doesn’t cut it anymore, you know?
Florals, little hearts, bows, animal print, cherry accents, this is the pile I dig into when my hands need to say something.

Gold Metallic Accents
One line of gold foil on dark wine polish and it somehow looks pricier than whatever you’re actually wearing that day.
Tiny pearls or gems pull the same trick, barely there but doing all the work.

Mismatched Sets
Not every finger has to match, I’ve decided. Chrome on one, a plain tip on another, one with a tiny detail thrown in, and somehow it still reads as one look instead of a mess.

Holiday Sparkle
Burgundy under candlelight just hits different than regular red, goes velvety instead of loud. November flips a switch in me every year without fail and I end up right back here.

Every fall I tell myself I’ll try something different this time, and every fall I somehow end up back at burgundy anyway.
Some weeks it’s the full chrome moment, other weeks it’s just a plain French line and I’m out the door in five minutes flat. Either way, I stopped fighting it a while ago.
